AX 2012 AIF and Batch Cleanup Automation

Logging for the AIF and Batch system is a great tool to identify what is going on and when things go wrong. Sometimes the errors could be a little more descriptive but all in all still useful. However, sometimes the tables that contain all of the logging and related info can, over time, become huge and add unnecessary work for your database server(s) and AOS(s). I wrote this batch executable class to help with mundane administrative tasks so a person doesn't have to do them. This will do the following:

• Delete Batch Job history entries where the batch job ended successfully after a specified number of days
• Delete entries from the system exception table that are warnings after a specified number of days
• Delete entries from the system excception table that are errors after a specified number of days
• Delete entries from the AIF Queue Manager table after a specified number of days *
• Delete Batch Jobs that have successfully complete after a specified number of days (and delete the history records also)

* Typically AX manages this for you but sometimes things can get stuck here and no one notice until the record is stale. At that point, whatever was trying to be integrated has most likely been handled by some other process or manually. 

You can use the attached to run daily cleanups of the tables above just to keep their size down and keep info in them relevant for users who may want to look at it. The job comes with my recommended defaults for each area.
