Let's walk through creating a standard Build VM
Step 6 - Download setup scripts from LCS
Initial documentation from MS on this topic can be found here. The documentation from MS is fairly comprehensive and straight forward. However, I suggest you create a directory on a file server somewhere for each environment you plan on creating and keep the installers and configuration files in it self contained. For instance, if you plan to create 3 environments as TEST, UAT and MIGRATION, create a folder for each and keep all installers in that directory, even if there is duplication. This wastes space but also keep everything for the cluster and environment you are working on in a central place and should you have to rebuild the cluster from nothing, you have everything in that directory ready to go so you can recreate the TEST cluster from template VMs in an hour or less rather than hours or even days.
