Clean Up Time registrations in Shop Floor Control

If you use shop floor control and utilize registrations, you will need to clean them up from time to time.

AX 2012

In Production Control > Periodic > Clean up, look for Clean up registrations. This will let you archive, purge to file or completely delete raw registrations (JmgTermReg) records. There are 3 main way to run it. 

1. The first is "To Table". This will move time registrations to an archive table so they won't be stored on the main table for this. This doesn't remove them and once in the archive table, these need to be removed manually as there is no tool to clean up archived time registrations in bulk.
2. The second is "to file". This will delete the time registration records but put them in a file which is available for you to download after the process is complete. The records are not moved to the archive table. They are deleted.
3. The third is "Delete". As the name implies, this deletes the records and does nothing else. 

Additionally, you have a number of days filter so you can only remove the last 90 to 180 days. You can set this up to run in batch once a week to automagically keep this data purged based on age like 180 days or 365 days. The minimum age for records that can be deleted is 30 days.

This is found in the same place and functions the same way as AX 2012.
