Clean up your cycle count plans!

over time your cycle count plans can leave executed batch jobs and history for those batch jobs that we don't need to keep around. There is functionality to help clean that up to reduce the database size, especially in the batch job history.

AX 2012

In Warehouse Management > Periodic > Cleanup, look for Cycle count plan cleanup. This will let you loop through all cycle count plan overview (WHSCycleCountPlanOverview) records that are not closed but have batch jobs associated with them and delete the batch job and its history. If there is no planned recurrence for the cycle count plan overview record, it gets marked as closed.
