How to do a Unit Conversion

The UnitConvert table has the method for doing unit conversions on the fly. Below is an example:

 

static void testUnitConvert(Args _args)
{
    ItemId      ItemId;
    Qty         Qty;
    Qty         convertQty;
    ToUnitId    ToUnitId;
    FromUnitId  FromUnitId;
    
    ;

    qty         =   15000.00;
    itemId      =   "123456";
    ToUnitId    =   "CA";
    FromUnitId  =   "LB";

    convertQty = UnitConvert::valueConvert(15000,FromUnitId,ToUnitId,itemId);
    info(num2str(convertQty,0,0,0,0));
}

 

If no conversion can be found, you will get a message like this.
